About Jane Whynot

Miss Whynot is a consultant specializing in performance with a background that spans approximately fifteen years in independent management for both the public and private sectors. Throughout her career, she has consistently applied highly developed analytical skills to the designated activity. She is able to identify issues, extract data and convert that data into usable information for other resources. Miss Whynot’s strength is her analytic ability in identifying complex subject matter, enabling individuals to easily comprehend difficult issues. She has demonstrated strong leadership capabilities on all levels, via the exploration, promotion and facilitation of objectives in established and emerging foci. Jane Whynot is a member of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), serving as the current President of the National Capital Chapter of the CES, Chair of the Annual Learning Event as well as a member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA). She has presented at numerous conferences on subjects related to evaluation capacity building, the role of learning in evaluation, and on the Treasury Board Policy on Evaluation (2009). She had also served as a reviewer for the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation (CJPE). Miss Whynot has also served as a guest lecturer within Carleton University’s Graduate Diploma in Program Evaluation on the subject of Strategic Policy Evaluation. Miss Whynot was a member of the inaugural class of the graduate diploma program in Program Evaluation at Carleton University within the faculty of Public Administration and continued her studies in evaluation at the University of Melbourne in Australia in their Masters of Assessment and Evaluation program. This degree was conferred in December 2010.
