About Jane Younger

As a highly motivated and professional person, I have a proven track record of being exceptionally organised, having a positive work ethic and providing support to my colleagues. I am an enthusiastic person who can work under pressure and to deadlines. My previous role as a Quantity Surveyor has enabled me to develop my skills in supporting the delivery and management of a project to cost, scope and time. During my time as a Project Manager I developed more methods of communication, including internal, external and on social media. I have developed stakeholder’s relations and liaise consistently to ensure they are well managed. I have leadership qualifications and experience in managing a small business support team, dealing with welfare, workloads and development challenges. Having a strategic way of thinking which ensures that I analyse situations to see the internal, external and reputational impact on the organisation and the immediate stakeholders. Reputation and professional management has been key within all my work experience and I understand the importance of maintaining this area. Opportunities in my career have included being involved in the NATO Summit in Wales in September 2014, when I was placed at a senior management level and showed my capability to manage staff, brief directors and senior officers, and have a strategic overview of external police communications. Self-motivation is a strong personal attribute. I work well within a team but have responsibility for my own personal development.
