The future of medicine rests on the transformation to a focus on wellness through integrated care for the whole person and their environment. Current medical data systems do not include the vision of wellness care. A system of integrated wellness indicators does not exist in the coding and billing system, and does not include "non-traditional approaches to wellness. Quantum computing will have the capacity to analyze and integrate live streamed big data generated by continuous wellness tracking. To utilize the quantum technology, medical codes must standardize to communicate across local systems for individual and aggregate analysis for cloud computing. Climate change impacts on individual, local, and population health by increased stress from natural disasters, and changing geographical boundaries for bacteria, mold, and fungi exponentially increase the amount of local data. I seek to apply my skills in research, development, and funding to join the transformation to a medical focus on wellness and whole person health.
