About Janella Pugh

I entered into the moving and storage business at a young age being the daughter of a Marine and professional mover. Being raised by a hard working dedicated father since age 3, my youngest memories are riding passenger in the tractor of an Atlas Van Lines 18-wheeler across country to California and beyond. I drove with my father until it was time to start kindergarten. My father put aside his love for the road for a brief time to settle down and raise his daughter while managing an Atlas agency in Richland, WA later to managing another small moving company in Goldendale, WA and then back to his love of driving long haul and seeing this beautiful country. He went back to his love of the road exploring the 48 states (at that time it was only 48) over and over again. The passion my father had for this industry and the experiences he had with moving his customers and the relationships that he built speared on my passion for the moving industry. I followed my father in the industry starting in 1992 with Cummings Mayflower. I worked as a move coordinator for five years coordinating trade shows, office and Industrial, residential COD as well as national accounts. I took a break from the moving industry and ventured to some other genres in transportation. I came back to the moving industry later working for a couple moving and storage companies as sales and business developing. Later I went back to coordinating at Chipman Relocation as OADA coordinator as well as COD. I found my love in the moving industry is coordinating and customer service. Currently I am at Mesa Moving and Storage as military coordinator working with an amazing team remotely in Eugene, OR. Proud to have the opportunity to serve our military members and families daily as my father is a Marine and many other members of my family serving or have served as well and former spouse of an amazing combat vet who served proudly in the 1st gulf war 82nd Airborne 5 tours. My father loved working with the public and his job. You could see it on his face every time when he spoke to his customers giving them EXCELLENT customer service always going the extra mile to please them making their move as good of an experience as possible. It is my hope to continue to stay in this industry following the great examples he gave of giving great customer service and dedication to those going through a stressful time in their life.
