I remember sitting in the process instrumentation workshop facilitated by the brilliant Sylvain Millette, looking at the photo of the piping setup. On paper, it was perfect. In reality, the meter was suspended high in the air with no walkway, no ladder access, no safe way to reach it. I raised my hand,"No one will ever maintain it.""Bingo" These "Ah-ha" moments, whether in training events, or as (sometimes too honest) design reviews from our technicians, taught me that while physics and theory matter, what really makes our world work is people. People who need to interact with our designs, with our systems, and most importantly with each other. That’s why I made the shift from a technical engineering career to one where I help people interact better with technology, systems, and teams. I love exploring how people, processes, and technology come together to make work not just more efficient but more impactful. I’ve partnered with global companies and public sector organizations to modernize their ways of working, adopt Agile practices, and embrace new technologies (including AI) to unlock better outcomes. Whether it’s coaching leaders through transformation, improving cross-functional collaboration, or rethinking processes for efficiency, my goal is always to help work feel valuable and sustainable. Beyond consulting, I’ve spent over 15 years helping people grow, whether through leadership development workshops, mentoring future STEM leaders, or guiding student organizations. Other defining experiences, from volunteering as a crisis responder to connecting with audiences as a television host and amateur thespian, have given me unique ways to engage with diverse groups and bring energy to every interaction. I’m always happy to connect to meet new people and to discuss how we can work to build better teams, better processes, creative solutions, and happier people.
