As a Senior Human Resources Professional, I am dedicated to helping employees and managers navigate daily work life as well as create solutions that resonate throughout the Departments I support. I truly believe the City of Los Angeles to be a leading influencer in public sector personnel policies and practices locally, nationally and even globally. During my tenure, I have coordinated important projects like hiring initiatives and diversity campaigns to address disparity in accessibility and hiring. I have implemented processes and procedures to track and report progress in accordance with the Department’s strategic plans and budget. I have supervised teams responsible for the research and development of strategies to meet specific goals and objectives under five different mayors. I have also helped develop Executive Directives and policies in response to changes in laws and culture. I have provided analytical and administrative support and direction for the Los Angeles City Police and Fire Departments, Animal Services, Public Works and the Los Angeles World Airport, as well as collaborated with other agencies, municipalities and community organizations.
