About Janet Benson

With over eight years of experience as a senior researcher and learning lead at the Learnovate Centre, an industry-led centre of excellence for research and innovation in learning technologies, I help clients address their learning needs and provide innovative solutions, particularly in relation to effective learning theory and learning design. I use innovation methodologies such as Jobs-to-be-Done and Service Mapping to deliver first-class innovation services to Learnovate members and clients. I am passionate about adult learning, game-based learning, and positive health, and I constantly seek to improve my skills and knowledge in these domains. I have a Masters degree in Digital Education from the University of Edinburgh, a Professional Diploma in Positive Health from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and a Diploma in UX Design. I believe that lifelong learning and wellbeing are essential for individuals and communities, as well as for effective learning outcomes.
