I believe every teacher should feel comfortable and confident in their efforts to create literacy-rich and engaging learning communities. My experiences with Literacy Implementation leadership, district-level instructional coaching, and as a classroom teacher provide me with a bank of current skills, strategies and experiences to share and explore- Development of curriculum and teacher guidance support systems and materials- Design, execute, and adapt engaging cross-curricular units, lessons, and activities- Create, coordinate, and deliver Professional Learning; provide follow-up suport and coaching - Strong interpersonal skills, including mastery of classroom management, parent relationships, professional collaboration, and community partnerships - Full literacy content mastery including foundational skills, vocabulary acquisition, differentiated learner support, and Readers & Writers Workshop models - Model Teacher: evidence-based practices and strategies grounded by Science of Reading research- Rigorous routine data monitoring and analysis to inform decision making - Proficient with a variety of technical programs and platforms - Highly experienced and successful in high-stakes test preparation requirements; instructional support strategies for effective teaching and learning of standards- Collaboration and communication with all audiences and stakeholders- Current certifications: Early Childhood; Middle Grades ELA & Social Sciences; Coaching Endorsed; Reading Endorsed; GIfted In-field
