About Janet King

I'm an learning designer with experience in creating user-centered learning experiences for online and hybrid courses. This includes expertise in developing courses for a diverse international audience on the edX MOOC platform. I have helped universities with their transition from face-to-face to fully online teaching and then again with the move to hybrid delivery. To do this I created a bank of resources that were designed to train academic staff members to implement instructional design strategies within their own courses. I have a verifiable history of developing e-learning assets and courses that surpass quality expectations. Currently I work in a team of elearning specialists who support the faculty of Geo Information and Earth Observation at the University of Twente. I am responsible for advising faculty on how to develop more effective and impactful courses as well as creating resources and workshops to develop their course design skills.
