I am the Director of Studies and CEO of ALACC Health College Australia and a Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing. I have gained both national and international experience in nursing and am a leader in aged care and education. From my long experience in Nursing, I have developed a passion for raising the standards of care in aged care. I have recently provided several written submissions and recommendations to the Australian government's Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety (2018-2021). I have dedicated my professional career to acute and aged care nursing, ensuring that the elderly in care are treated with respect and dignity. As the founding President of the Australian College of Care Workers, I am committed to ensuring qualified Care Workers are supported through continued professional education and development in order to protect their clients from exploitation, abuse, and discrimination.
