Janet launched Beauty Dossier in April 2016. An on-online beauty course aimed at women in their 40s, 50s and 60s. A new brand under JMC, Janet believes this important demographic is after real information to update and freshen their looks, without any in store sales pressure. Over 2 hours of info targeted specifically at this age group, broken into bite sized tutorials, women get 12 months unlimited access to the course for a one time payment of AUD $80. All demonstrations are shown on real women in their 50s. 5% of sales are donated to Look Good Feel Better. Janet began her career in fashion and after 2 years moved to beauty. Beginning as a sales representative for Revlon, then NSW Sales Manager, she quickly moved to position of National Training Manager. After 3 years, she moved to a Marketing Manager role for the Portfolio brands for Revlon. The role of National Sales manager for Revlon Department Stores was the next step. In 1990 Janet left Revlon and started Janet Muggivan Communications Pty Ltd. The previous 10 years varied experience gave Janet a holistic view of the beauty business as opposed to a silo vision which is common for some communications specialists. Janet served on the Board of Directors of The Cancer Patients Foundation Limited for over 22 years, the foundation that runs Look Good…Feel Better Workshops for women undergoing cancer treatments around Australia for over 22 years now. She was a founding sponsor in 2012 of Bright Pink Lipstick Day for Pink Hope Charity which supports women at high risk of breast cancer.
