Proud winner of the REIV Buyer's Agent of the Year in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020 and top three finalist for REIA Buyers Agent of the Year 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018. Janet's career began as a researcher working for the Prime Minister's Equal Opportunity Department reviewing programs for people from disadvantaged backgrounds and participating in the Affirmative Action for Women initiative. After a brief stint in the ski industry, she moved into real estate in 1989 working for Mackintosh First National in Camberwell as a Property Manager and after three years moving to sales. She later moved to Wilson Pride in St Kilda to broaden her real estate experience across Melbourne.Janet realised the need for buyers to have their own professional representation and began working as a Buyers Agent in 1995, deciding to establish her own business, Buyer Solutions in 2001.Janet has maintained her interest and support of the real estate industry by being a volunteer representative on the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV)'s Member Council and as a Chairperson of the Buyer's Agent Chapter. She is also the Victorian Representative and a member of the Real Estate Buyers' Agent Association (REBAA) of Australia.
