About Janet Sutton

After Many in Nursing I am still passionate about supporting, developing and managing Nurses and AHCP. Quality in Primary care should be paramount, over 90% of NHS contacts are undertaken in General practice and community settings. Having experience in developing effective teams i understand the importance of sharing organisational vision and values within teams to develop trust which supports that quality service delivery. Promoting the way the NHS services are commissioned to look for more sustainable, system-wide coordinated integrated primary and community care models. I believe it is important to develop a vision for the integration of care which is co-designed with all stakeholders particularly patients, this together with progressive clinical leadership helps to ensure ensure that the NHS continues to provide a world class service. I enjoy Sharing QI tools and initiatives, the Health Foundations Q Collabrative is important for developing new ideas for quality improvement in service delivery. The development of PCNs is the most unique opportunity in decades to both develop clinical leadership and provide more innovative care to local healthcare communities. primary care needs to continue to fully embrace these.
