Area Supporting- Home Care,/ Home Solutions - HCS Business Dev, Clinical Strategy Development, HCS Business Dev In February 2019, I founded the Admins Supporting Admin Group at Humana in KY. My vision is to connect new hires to learning experiences, expand the skills and knowledge of existing associates, and to build a network for collaboration. It has evolved into a multi-channel communication source for real-time answers & solutions. It also provides a conduit for Humana departments to share process changes and updates to get instant feedback from users. We have filled a training void for navigating Humana processes, resources, and tools for administrative community. My desire is to help mold admins into strategic business partners vs the normal admin, to promote growth and challenge admins to “think outside the box,” to become “the face of their executive” since we as admins are the first point to contact for our executives. My group started with 4 associates and has now grown to 300+ members! In September 2022 I hosted the first-ever virtual administrative professionals conference, where we brought together Humana’s over 300 administrative assistants for a day of growth, learning and networking. Supporting our administrative professionals through skill building and coaching helps strengthen our culture of inclusion & belonging by encouraging everyone to take steps to achieve their personal and professional goals. Through this conference, Humana’s administrative professionals walked away with key insights to better support our leaders and partners, while also demonstrating our value of Thriving Together. • Participation – We had over 300 admins from Humana, CenterWell, Conviva, Onehome and other M&A companies join the conference. • Feedback – Event sentiment from the admins and presenters was highly positive. It was encouraging to hear such great feedback. • Content and presentations – The content shared by our presenters and panelists was nothing short of phenomenal. Admins were able to build a personalized agenda to meet their need individual learning and growth goals. Specifically, the panel executive leaders at Humana about career learnings was inspirational. Each leader provided candid feedback about their career journey that helps our admins see their role – and work – in a more strategic and consultative position. • Budget – This event was executed on a ZERO-DOLLAR budget to support our cost-savings goals • Engagement Event engagement throughout all sessions was steady. Our admin community felt invested in, motivated and encouraged.
