About Janez Mikec

A structural engineer with a passion for bridging software development and (structural) engineering. In recent few years, I've honed my expertise in developing tailored Python applications and innovative engineering solutions. For the initial eight years, I was involved in residential, commercial, and industrial design, as well as seismic restraint of building components. My career, rich with experiences from New Zealand and Slovenia, laid the foundation for my current focus on software development within engineering. When it comes to delivering a project, my technical ability, coupled with a zeal for communication and collaboration, consistently contribute to successful outcomes. I thrive in a team environment and am always on the lookout for innovative and pragmatic solutions to challenges.
