About Janhavi Chanda

I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), with a concentration in International Finance and Economic Policy. This summer, I’m working with Professor Gita Johar at Columbia Business School on research at the intersection of behavioural economics and AI, as well as with the Columbia Global Center on public health care and education initiatives. In India, I worked at the intersection of strategy, operations, and public policy. At Sattva Consulting, I advised clients such as GH Labs (Gates Ventures), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Packard Foundation on go-to-market strategy, operational scale-up, and organizational restructuring in the primary healthcare and diagnostics space. I later worked with the Government of India on national initiatives, including the Viksit Bharat strategy and AI transformation projects under the Prime Minister’s Office.
