Background

About Jani Silvander

Expert in RTL design and verification, ASIC/FPGA development, FPGA prototyping, and embedded software engineering (ARM/AVR). My experience spans both hardware and software domains, making me a strong candidate for roles in R&D, verification, or test environments. I have contributed to projects involving ARM+FPGA platforms, where I've designed custom peripheral IPs and developed software drivers for ARM integration. I also have experience supporting ASIC development efforts, such as creating controller IPs to interface digital logic with analog macros. In verification, I am proficient in SystemVerilog and UVM, and capable of developing testbenches, assertions, covergroups, and testcases. I frequently use Python to automate flows, for example, connecting documentation with RTL code or streamlining verification tasks. In the hardware domain, I able to design schematics and layoyts for PCBs and prototypes using Altium Designer or KiCad, and work hands-on in lab environments for bring-up and testing. On the software side, I’m skilled in C, Python, and LabView, with experience in embedded and measurement systems.
