About Janice Leahy

I am a friendly and hardworking Human Resources professional with a Certificate in Personnel Practice who has 16 years experience of advising on a wide range of generalist HR issues including employee relations, absence, performance management, recruitment and selection and training and development. I have a practical and hands on approach and am accustomed to prioritising my workload on a variety of projects at any one time. My strengths are listening and communicating across all levels of an organisation, and I have experience of compiling and facilitating management workshops including Handling Change, Difficult Conversations and Effective Feedback in a clinical, administrative and retail environment. As a Life Coach, I incorporated my Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner qualification into 1:1 personal development coaching sessions and mental health workshops alongside my Mental Health First Aider qualification. My experience is predominately in the charitable sector including clinical, non clinical, heritage and health. I am looking to work with a professional team in an environment where I can continue to develop my skill set and CPD and contribute towards a successful HR function.
