I am a highly successful, versatile executive with more than 30 years’ experience gained in a variety of industry sectors, including key positions in roles of event and project management, marketing, sales, public relations, also B2B transactions and B2C services. I’m a professional with strong planning, organisational, communication and administrative skills, who has a flexible, enthusiastic and conscientious approach to work, and who pays meticulous attention to detail. I have an excellent track record of delivering within agreed timelines, also to cost and quality parameters. I’m creative in tailoring the writing of marketing messages allowing them to appeal to different market sectors. Throughout my career, I have developed keen negotiating skills for maximum benefits at the most effective cost. I continuously identify areas for improvement from event management to my workload timetable, and am innovative in implementing best practice to develop systems and services. As the world of work has moved into a digital age, I have adapted my original skill sets to stay abreast with current ways of working, having used a range of software to create promotional materials / mediums including Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Social Studio, GoToWebinar to create and run virtual events, also many apps from Microsoft Office. I have very effective interpersonal skills which allow liaisons with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally, regardless of medium used and I always display the required sense of confidentiality. I enjoy and excel equally while working on my own initiative or as a team member. I’m an experienced team leader, who has often coached and guided team members who are based in different geographic locations but have the ultimate goal of delivering a shared event/project. I remain level headed at all times despite being under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.
