About Janicke Andersson
I am an associate professor in sociology and deputy professor in social work. My research interests mainly concerns perceptions and governing of body, health, ageing and life-span. Theoretically, my interest rest in discourse analysis and critical age studies. Methodologically, I mainly work with texts, interviews and focus groups. Recent studies are generations on TIKTOK, prosthesis and embodiement, interconnected aging, Covid- 19 and the age limit 70+, social responsibility and age recommendations; as well as as a study on social services and child marriage.
