About Janina Knappstein

Fire and foremost, I want to get things done. I’m solution oriented. I love to see problems and to find a way to solve them, preferably together with a team. I strongly believe in the power of knowledge sharing, bringing ideas together and honest conversations. To enable honest conversations, trust and emotional safety are key. That is also why I would name them as the most important characteristics of my leadership style. According to Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, I’m personality type ESTJ "Commander" which explains which role I usually take in teams: It's oddly satisfying for me to keep the overview, to structure and to define work packages for the team depending on their specialties and preferences. However, that doesn‘t mean that I’m not always ready to roll up my sleeves, dive into details and support wherever I can – as I said: I want to get things done. I'm a data-driven strategic thinker and an Accountant at heart. I assume responsibility and am decisive. I’m passionate and enthusiastic at work and always yearn to learn more. When I'm not at work, I can be spotted doing functional fitness training outdoor all over the year, running, hiking or road racing, listening to podcasts or non-fiction books on Audibles while going for a walk, or simply hanging out with friends and families at nice places all around the world.
