About Janina Oakes

I am a pretty easy going individual. I take after my grandmother who was a very stylish & fashionable woman. I come from a very mature & good mannered background. I am influenced by the old times/victorian goth era, & yet I am an 80's girl.( Born in 82 :D ) I grew up on a ton of music: Sinatra, Elvis, Manilow, Cher, Madonna, Lauper, Summer, & I listen to quite a variety ( minus the gangster rap & country genre's ) If it simply has a good beat, I am on the floor:D I love my teaching job, but it can get quite stressful. I have a wonderful man in my life who I am marrying in Feb of 2015. His name is James ( not James & the Giant Peach :p ) We are huge movie buffs, & big on Trek & Tim Burton. Our wedding is Corpse Bride themed, & our Honeymoon will be in the style of Nightmare Before Christmas as we sail on the Royal Caribbean. I think we will be going around our Birthdays in October since we are a week apart or around Halloween:D Other than teaching, I love to spend my time singing & dancing. We go to karaoke once a week on Wednesdays, & on the weekends I will tend to sing more & dance around the living room :D I have been doing so since I was about 12 years old. Yes I have been told I should go on American Idol/America's Got Talent/X-Factor, but I am not one to just go on live television & TRY to be famous. I am happy with my life as it is:) I am hoping to get a house in 2015 with James, & get out of the apt life. Rent sucks :D OH. & I have a sense of dark black humor:p
