With a strong background in higher education administration and project management, I specialize in faculty affairs, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements. As Faculty Affairs Administrator in Rice University’s School of Engineering and Computing, I lead key projects that streamline faculty processes, enhance recruitment and tenure workflows, and improve institutional efficiency. My expertise includes faculty affairs, visa coordination, HR process optimization, and leveraging technology to refine administrative operations. Beyond faculty affairs, I am passionate about project management and have successfully led initiatives that drive staff engagement, professional development, and operational excellence. As Chair of Rice University’s Staff Council, I’ve launched impactful programs like the Staff Webinar Series, Staff Excellence Awards, and the upcoming Proposal Process, all designed to foster transparency, career growth, and institutional collaboration for university staff. Additionally, I founded the Working Parents and Caregivers Employee Resource Group (ERG) to provide meaningful support for faculty and staff balancing work and family. My experience spans process improvement, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. I hope to pursue formal project management training, with a long-term goal of obtaining PMP certification.
