About Janine Jaech

I bring about 30 years of tax and accounting experience with me to Olympic Point Tax & Consulting. My goal is, and always has been, to bring professional knowledge and traditional service to all clients so as to assist them in being financially successful in their personal and professional matters. Not long after my undergraduate studies, I co-founded and managed a tax preparation and accounting firm in Oakland, CA. During my years with that firm, I was also able to obtain a Ph.D. in business administration, a certificate in human resource management, a CA real estate license, become an IRS enrolled agent - and raise two children. Eventually, drawing on additional entrepreneurial spirit, I solely founded another firm in Oakland which focused on comprehensive tax and accounting consultancy for individuals, small businesses of many types, and non-profits. My move to the Seattle area arose out of a desire to be closer to my two adult children. In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing with my family, friends, and two dogs. I also have been known to approach recreation with the same intensity as my professional career, as can be corroborated by a number of orthopedists. My favorite outdoor activity involves (to the chagrin of the orthopedists) careening down mountainsides on a snowboard!
