Career started in nursing profession in 1984 & qualified as a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardio Vascular Surgery. 1995, Joined Sun International as Corporate Conference Manager for Sun City Resorts. spent a short time in Auckland, NZ where I worked in the food services industry then returned to Sun City Resorts mid as Special Projects & Co-ordination Manager for the Lost City. May joined the Southern Sun Hotel Group at the Sandton Convention Centre, heading up the Conferences & Events Department. 2006 - 2010 focusing on International Sales. Having filled various senior management positions within the SCC over the last 10 years. 2010, African Bureau of Conventions was formed specializing is International Bidding assisting Local, National Associations, Institutes & Societies in bringing Conferences to Africa. 2014, Africa Event Xcellence was started & the focus went back to Conference & Event Management throughout Africa. 2019 joined Emperors Palace as Head of Banqueting, Groups & Conventions, sadly due to COVID this came to an end and now consult to various companies for events on the operational support, network development for Refresh Renovations - New Zealand & Australia and work actively in MyTechie South Africa, dealing with Technicians and Technical support of techies in the field and client relationship management.
