With over 40 years of work experience in the publishing industry, I am a seasoned proofreader, copy editor, and consultant who can deliver high-quality content and design for various media platforms. I value collaboration, creativity, and diversity, and I strive to contribute to the success and growth of the organizations I work with.Until January 2023, I was the Assistant Vice President and Creative Director at Kappa Publishing Group, where I oversaw the content, cover design, and advertising for a line of over 60 national puzzle magazines, as well as a line of puzzle and coloring and activity books. I was also the Editor in Chief of Games World of Puzzles, one of the leading puzzle magazines in the country. I managed the art and editorial departments, and interacted with various licenses such as Sesame Street, Woman's Day, Disney, DreamWorks, and Chicken Soup for the Soul. I participated in strategy planning for new product development and launch. I used my skills in new media, creative direction, and attention to detail to ensure the quality and consistency of the products and to meet the needs and expectations of the customers and partners.
