About Janne Salminen

I work at the intersection of cybersecurity, cloud, and data protection — ensuring environments are secure, scalable, and sustainable in practice. In parallel, I focus on privacy and compliance with a clear business lens. I’ve led the implementation of managed, GDPR-aligned data protection frameworks across multiple countries — ensuring regulatory compliance while enabling scalable operations. By applying privacy by design principles early in the development lifecycle, I’ve embedded trust into products and services, mitigated regulatory and reputational risks, and avoided costly redesigns and delays. In tech-side of things, I am deeply familiar with Microsoft-tech but for example I am currently expanding my skills on the AWS side as well to support multi-cloud environments with the same level of control and insight. Security and privacy aren’t afterthoughts.
