Amada has built a business model to help seniors and their families easily explore all care options. Service Offerings:(We offer complimentary in-home assessments for all our services.) Caregivers – Amada provides in-home non-medical caregivers trained to provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, meal preparation, bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry, feeding, walking, exercise assistance, medication reminders, transportation, and, of course, companionship. Technology/Remote Care – Using discreet wireless technology, families become active participants in the care of loved ones by leveraging our technology to monitor and receive alerts about issues of concern such as falls, prolonged absences from a bed, or missed medications. Housing Options – If remaining at home is no longer a viable option, we personally assist clients (at no charge) find a senior living arrangement. Care Funding Options: Long Term Care Insurance (LTCi)- Amada has established relationships with LTCi carriers. We advocate for our clients by helping them understand their policies, including knowing when filing a claim is appropriate. We handle all paperwork at no cost to the senior. Veterans Aid & Attendance Pension – We help wartime veterans and their surviving spouses secure tax-free financial aid for senior care paid for by the Department of Veterans. Life Insurance – We help our clients explore the option of converting a life insurance policy into a Long Term Care Benefit Plan. Private Pay – We regularly work with clients who pay for care directly through their own resources.
