During my 24 years of employment at various diplomatic representations of the Netherlands I was responsible for • all operational management a.o. human resources, financial administration, financial reporting, IT support, security, crisis management, diplomatic car fleet, inventory, housing expatriate staff, office accommodation, central archive, travel arrangements, event planning and policy making. • all consular affairs a.o. visa, passports, nationality issues, immigration issues, monitor Dutch detainees, Civil Registry, Dutch citizens database, official document legalizations. On subjects regarding operational management and consular affairs I acted as liaison for local authorities and diplomatic representations, Head of Mission and HQ. As member of the crisis management team and Head of Consular Affairs I assisted with the emergency evacuations and repatriations of Dutch citizens and legal residents in - 1998 (Indonesia riots)- 2006 (Israeli - Lebanon conflict) and - 2011 (war in Syria) Other skills • Dutch: Native speaker - English: Fluent - Arabic: Colloquial beginner speaker • 10+ years MS Office, Word and Outlook and use of organization specific databases for financial administration, consular affairs and archive In 2014 my family and I decided to move to the United States where I enjoyed until this day my responsibilities as a full time parent, home maker and occasionally care giver for elderly family members. These responsibilities currently allow me to re-enter the workforce in preferably part-time or remote/work from home position.
