Dr. El Mazoudi Jaouad is a University Professor of Management, Marketing, Entreprenurship, and Human Resources at Cadi Ayyad University (UCA) in Marrakech. His research delves deep into the fascinating interplay between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the dynamic fabric of society within managerial landscapes and entrepreneurial ventures. His passion lies in unraveling how CSR initiatives can act as catalysts for addressing societal challenges, by exploring the economic, societal, and legal factors that shape and, at times, limit entrepreneurial endeavors. Dr. El Mazoudi Jaouad was a visiting scholar at the School Business at Portland State University in 2016. He educated MBA students on CSR in Morocco and took part in research methodology trainings. Outside academia, he led professional training sessions and workshops for diverse stakeholders in Portland. Moving to 2017, Dr. El Mazoudi Jaouad did a doctoral internship under Yvon Pesqueux at CNAM Paris involved immersive workshops on management sciences epistemology and research methodology. Then, he pursued Management courses at the University of Paris Dauphine. His scholarly contributions include comprehensive articles on corporate social responsibility in the Moroccan context, responsible consumption trends among Generation Y, and the resilience of HR practices amidst the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Dr. El Mazoudi Jaouad brings together a wealth of academic insights with hands-on experience to enlighten students in Management, Marketing, Human Resources, and Entrepreneurship. His professional journey spans diverse managerial roles in the business sector and a successful consultancy career in the United States. Across Africa and the United States of America, he has shared his expertise with numerous Business Schools, nurturing the potential of aspiring young entrepreneurs and emerging managers. Presently, his research focuses on CSR dynamics, social entrepreneurship, and fostering and cultivating entrepreneurial competencies among the youth. Dr. El Mazoudi Jaouad holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University Mohammed V of Rabat, alongside a Master's in Marketing and Management from UCA in Marrakech, and a Bachelor's in Business Management from the same institution. His illustrious career trajectory encompasses 6 years of hands-on managerial experience in the business industry before transitioning into consulting roles in the US. Beyond academia, he serves as an advisor to various student clubs and Incubators, nurturing and guiding the aspiring talents of youth.
