About Jaquel Brown

Hello, my name is JaQuel Brown. I am an up-and-coming IT Support Specialist currently completing Merit America’s IT Support Program to become COMPTIA+ certified with the completion of the program and to graduate with the Google IT Support certificate. In my past work experience, I've been known to be a great problem solver, and believe that skill is essential for this role. One example of me displaying this remarkable skill is one customer had a complaint about their previous order not being correct. I came up with the solution of remaking the order and letting my manager know of the error and they were able to get their order discounted since we couldn’t issue refunds at the time. I would hope to use my newly acquired credentials to get into an entry-level position either in Maryland or North Carolina as one of my family members living in that state has told me that the tech industry is proliferating there. I have gained the knowledge and found the tools to succeed in this new career I have chosen with the help of some amazing people in this organization called Merit America. I would love to personally show a company that I am the perfect fit for their Information Technology department team.
