About Jaquelyn Westbrook

I am a Director of Development for Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. As the Director of Development, I am responsible for prospecting, cultivating, securing, and stewarding mid-level and major gifts as well as engaging and building relationships with prospective donors, alumni, and community members that wish to support our students and the strategic priorities of the institution and its mission. Before joining the development team at TAMUCC, I was the Assistant Director of Development for Texas A&M University-Kingsville. In this role I supported the fundraising efforts of TAMUK Athletics and Alumni by managing a portfolio of constituents to meet private support goals for certain projects and initiatives though annual giving. I am truly passionate about marketing and fundraising and I am always eager to connect with others in the profession. My favorite aspect of fundraising is building relationships with constituents/donors and helping their philanthropic interests flourish within the organization I represent. On the marketing side of things, I enjoy the creative design and idea generation for a future marketing campaign/project. I love finding new ways to engage people, as it is everchanging. I have a BBA in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University, and I hold a Certificate in Nonprofit Management at Texas A&M University- College Station. I also hold a Texas Real Estate License. Currently, I am in the Executive Master's of Public Service and Administration program at Texas A&M University- College Station and will graduate in Spring of 2023. I stay involved in my spare time, as I enjoy being an active member in the community and volunteering my time to help others.
