About Jardane Walker

Working and studying in hospitality for 15 years. Started as a Chef, went to chef school and worked in various different restaurants, bars and banquet halls. I helped as a waitress/bar attendant, gained experience as a reservations agent, moved my job path completely and became a cocktail bar supervisor, worked me way up to restaurant manager then duty manager. I have opened hotels, been part of hotel take overs and refurbishments. I decided to develop more in front office, first on night shift now as a reception supervisor in a 5 star hotel. I currently have a team of 14 under my supervision and often I am in charge of the accommodation operations of an entire 115 bedroom hotel. I am a very determined, honest, hardworking, reliable person. My time keeping, and attendance is excellent, as are my inter-personal skills. I am sensible, and ambitious. Working under pressure is a skill I feel like I have mastered and would say I enjoy. Interacting with customers, providing a service and being part of a team is a fulfilling experience for me. I have always found my passion in seeing people develop and grow. Training others and seeing them progress and gain confidence gives me a reward I have not found anywhere else.
