About Jared Bauman

When I was fourteen years old, I was already frustrated with the decline of civil discourse in the political media landscape. As a result, I started a blog to express often-ignored opinions in my monolithic community, and I made it my goal to use careful analysis, thorough research, and the right dash of humor to shed light on my core beliefs. After receiving thousands of views from an international audience, I decided to expand my scope. I started a talk radio program on Vanderbilt University's VandyRadio station that allowed me to explore relevant topics in a more casual manner, and I continued to produce blogs and op-eds for the campus newspaper and various other publications. Likewise, I refined my research and communications skills through a series of internships with political campaigns and policy advocacy groups, and I tailored my academic coursework to improve my political and historical analysis capabilities. I now attend Vanderbilt Law School, where I am cultivating my passions for political law, constitutional law, and criminal law.
