About Jared Carter

With over 7 years of experience in the construction industry, I am a qualified and reliable special inspector for soils, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, and post-tensioned concrete. I have ICC and WABO certifications, as well as ACI concrete field testing technician grade I. I am passionate about ensuring the quality and safety of various construction projects, from high-rise buildings to light rail systems. I am currently working as a special inspector at Professional Service Industries, Inc.(PSI), a leading engineering and testing firm that provides innovative solutions to complex challenges. At PSI, I have had the opportunity to work on many different projects, such as a 63-floor slab on metal deck high-rise, a large tank farm for the US Navy, and several light rail projects in different areas of King and Snohomish counties. I work well alone or as part of a larger team to accomplish many different tasks, such as performing field inspections, testing materials, preparing reports, and coordinating with engineers, contractors, and clients. I have also developed new business relationships and referrals for PSI by providing excellent customer service and technical expertise. I am currently working on a degree in Construction Management from Pierce College in which I anticipate graduating with my Associates Degree by end of winter quarter 2025.
