About Jared D.

I'm an experienced instructional designer and educator with over a decade of work in online learning, curriculum development, and anatomy and physiology instruction. I currently serve as an Instructional Designer at the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, where I collaborate with faculty and design teams to create engaging, accessible, and outcomes-driven online and hybrid courses across a range of health programs. I hold a Master of Arts in Instructional Design and Technology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Master’s degree in Advanced Forensic Anthropology and Human Anatomy from the University of Dundee. This interdisciplinary background informs both my design work and my teaching. I also serve as an online instructor for an accredited funeral service education program, where I apply my subject matter expertise in anatomy and physiology. I'm passionate about inclusive course design, digital accessibility, and creating meaningful learning experiences that support both students and faculty. I enjoy exploring educational technologies and video-based strategies to enhance clinical and theoretical learning in the online environment. Always open to new ideas and collaboration, I’m committed to advancing the quality of online and hybrid education.
