About Jared Diamond

With over 34 years of servant leadership, I am both dedicated to and fascinated with learning about people and their experiences. I often look for and find connections with those around me. It's a fun game to play, even if the person doesn't realize they are playing. I spent decades in Luxury retail Management in various roles and was highly successful. Working with a preeminent organization in Canada afforded me many things. The two that stand out for me are the clients I had the privilege of assisting and the relationships that continue to this day. The other is being the benefactor of considerable formal training while building my arsenal of soft skills. It was a real challenge to leave the industry and find where I belong, especially during what we all had to endure over the past few years. That said."Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors." My journey takes me to Mobital, A Canadian Wholesaler and maker of Modern furniture since 1996. My role is too create and maintain relationships that lead to business growth in Western Canada, the United States and beyond. Albert Einstein said "Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death." This is my new inspirational message since leaving an industry that I knew so well. Mobital has turned out to be the perfect fit for me. People focused, forward thinking, performance based, and a true center of excellence.
