About Jared Diehl

day and a pleasure to meet you! Thank you for taking the time to read my summary!~ Despite the jobs I have had and titles I received, I simply call myself a sustainability advocate. This came from a lifestyle of outdoor activity and respect for nature that was instilled in me by my grandfather. My journey in the world of sustainability began at WWU with courses on environmental law, economic and green marketing. After university I set out for more hands on experience and found myself inventing time in permaculture, solar and off grid living. I took the physical and metal knowledge I had gained to South America and volunteered construction rebuilding damaged schools. These adventures have allowed me to become a more open minded and collaborative thinker with a solid foundation. Upon retuning to the states, I set out to build a career exploring the possibilities all while trying to pay of those darn loans! Thankfully I landed in the world of Renewable Energy. Over the last few years I have learned so much about business, management and have even gotten some PM certifications. I have Solar has always been a hobby of mine, but I continue to wonder. what other areas of sustainability have I failed to explore. How do I become a true sustainability guru?
