About Jared Eddy

Born and raised in the beautiful state of Utah, I have lived here for most of my life. I have had an odd variety of jobs over the course of my working adulthood from working long hour days and weeks in the oil fields of the freezing temperatures of North Dakota, to waiting tables at restaurants with the occasional drink spill on the customers lap,(it happened one time), or working the sales floor of a furniture store, taking advantage of sweet, young, timid, newlywed couples with up sells as high as Elon Musk's ambitions. Hmm, or was that my work colleague? Finally, having settled in to my current position as an Enrollment Counselor in Higher Education for the past 5 years. I've been blessed and grateful to help guide and counsel many individuals toward getting their missing credentials needed for accomplishing their career goals from an incredibly affordable, flexible made, non-profit University. Although this may not be my end game for my futures career, working in higher education has been a fulfilling experience thus far! Despite being routinely social with my students I speak with, I am by nature, an introvert. but adaptable. When keeping to myself, I enjoy reading books about life energy, QI, functional medicine, and the occasional self-development book. I have a great passion for health in general and what it can do for people. I've witnessed first hand the stress and emotional downpour of a under active health state. I love MMA and I pursue this as a hobby; however, assuming the day comes where it would no longer be just a dream to fight professionally, I would not pass it by! Ironically enough I don't have my degree, in spite of working in higher education. Yes, the nightmares of not having a degree in this era! Rest assured, my quest will continue and soon I hope to be a proud owner of a BS Accounting degree. From there, I plan to pursue a MS Accounting, as well as a CPA.
