About Jared Ellsworth

I am currently working as a Commercial Estimator at Sunroc Corporation and compete at the International Builder's Show on the National Association of Home Builders team. I study Construction & Facilities Management at Brigham Young University and TA the Electrical Systems class and lab. As a teenager, I learned how to build high end residential homes from start to finish, recognizing the importance of doing things right the first time. Witnessing a plot of undeveloped land become a beautiful custom home piqued my interest and led me to pursue a career in construction. I have strong leadership skills which stem from my experience managing a crew of construction laborers, being team captain of my high school swim team, implementing an Eagle Scout Project, and organizing events for over 20 youth in a church leadership position. I push myself to excel in everything I do and love learning about every aspect of construction. I have worked in 7 separate areas of construction, volunteer-work and participated in extra-curricular programs. I like to challenge myself and take pride in my work.
