With an over 20-year career driving enhancements in accuracy and efficiency for region-wide data collection and analysis at the US Census Bureau, I have developed a record for leading multiple large-scale projects with $100M budgets while reducing administrative, labor, and operational expenses. My efforts have allowed me to foster trusting relationships with team members to achieve objectives and surpass expectations. As the Deputy Regional Director at the US Census Bureau, I oversaw day-to-day planning, management, and direction of the field data collection stage of sample surveys comprising of eight states and over employees. Prior to my promotion, I served as Assistant Regional Director, where I led strategic initiatives to enhance and improve Census Bureau programs. I also have worked as a Program Coordinator, earning a long-standing reputation for communicating complex issues and concepts to solve problems and preparing complex written reports, briefings, and other written documents. Whether I am leading teams or delivering tailored support to key stakeholders, I am passionate about fostering interdepartmental collaboration to ensure successful project outcomes. Received Bronze Medal Award, the U.S. Census Bureau’s highest award for superior federal service. Reduced labor costs substantially to maximize utilization of workforce and resources.
