About Jared Owen

I drive cybersecurity practices company wide at a multi-state ISP. Including cybersecurity strategy, policy, risk, and compliance management. Which means I touch all things cybersecurity from DevOps to HR to directing 3rd party SOC operations. I have previously dealt directly with meeting CMMC 2.0 requirements as well as NIST RMF and NIST SP 800-171 as a DoD contractor. As well as other IA artifacts such as threat modeling, STIG/SCAP compliance and vendor hardening of devices. I have completed my BSIT specializing in Network Management, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.94 and completed my Masters in Information Systems specializing in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. I have attained my Comptia Network+, Security+ and CASP+ certifications. My team and I also won 1st place back to back in ISACA Denver Chapter's Cybersecurity Casestudy Competition 2021 & 2023. To say I have an affinity for technology, particularly networking and security areas is an understatement. I thoroughly enjoy researching, learning, and implementing all things IT and Cybersecurity
