About Jared Padgett

With over 20 years of experience in product and project management, business analysis, and web development, I am passionate about applying the High Reliability Organization (HRO) framework to enhance resilience, safety, and reliability in various domains. I have a Doctor of Business Administration degree in Leadership, and multiple certifications in Agile product and project management. Most recently, I contributed to the Uplynk Streaming Product team (formerly part of Verizon Media and Yahoo) at Edgio, a global leader in edge computing and media delivery. In addition to leading the Manifest and Ads teams, I am worked on playback features, internal systems, product usage data, and stakeholder communication. I successfully released high profile features, such as Live Timeshifting and Google Ad Manager (GAM) Pod Serving and supported several others including Geoblocking and Dynamic Manifest Markers. I also updated the product roadmap through several iterations and improved the feature request pipeline. I am an associate faculty at the University of Phoenix, where I teach business and information technology courses, and mentor doctoral students on their dissertations. I am interested in collaborating on research projects involving healthcare, HRO, safety culture, Agile, and learning organizations.
