About Jared Richardson

My personal drive for excellence in addition to my keen attention to detail and timeliness make me an ideal candidate for most positions. My abilities to be self-directed, to logically consider courses of action, and to maintain organization are assets desirable of any good employee and are qualities in which I am particularly adroit and will bring to my team. Having studied literature and linguistics in graduate school, I have labored intensively to develop my skills as a writer and analyst; however, in order to meet strict deadlines, fastidious time management was essential. I will be directly applying these skills to the role of Planner, as meticulous organization of processes, schedules, calendars, and timelines as well as proficiency in communication are not at all unlike the same skills I have refined while pursuing my Master’s degree. Currently I utilize these skills as a Senior Laboratory Operations Associate in the Project Management Office at Charles River Laboratories in maintaining various study timelines, managing resources, planning and procuring equipment orders, coordinating schedules inter-departmentally, and developing methods to achieve study goals. While no certification is yet available at Charles River Laboratories, I have worked diligently with the Operational Excellence team on Lean SixSigma strategies through participation in several Kaizen workshops designed to map processes, analyze root causes of inefficiencies, and generate solutions to improve and streamline these processes on a corporate level. I am particularly interested in expanding my skillsets and seek a challenging environment that will allow me to be a valued team member and asset for the company and will also provide me the opportunity to excel.
