I worked 11 years in a 400k sq/ft retail and e-commerce distribution facility. Worked as a lead for 3 years, some in shipping, handling outbound loading of product and materials along with organizing communication with carriers. Majority of lead work in e-commerce, leading team of up to 90 associates in receiving, picking/packing and shipping of online orders. I then worked for over 6 years supervising retail operations including receiving, value added services, inventory control, store packing, scheduling and shipping. Experience with continuous improvement using Lean methods. Experience managing and improving standard practices for inventory management and shrink reduction. 5 plus years assisting in successful safety programs.6 years managing scheduling office, responsible for maintaining appointment schedule for inbound/outbound loads and liaison between logistics team and carriers. Long term experience with self development and development of direct reports to improve internal teams and leaders. Taught and managed forklift training on a variety of stand up and sit down equipment. Started at Victorian Trading Company in late 2019 as the Warehouse Manager. Reorganized and revamped staffing and processes to comply with current industry standards. Reduced cost per order 18% over a year and a half. Took on facilities and security responsibilities due to the pandemic, and in October 2020 I took on Customer Service management responsibilities. Manage budgets for both Customer Service and Fulfillment Center. Hired and trained all new CSR staff with focus on sales and efficiency. Grew and developed new talent for key positions and leadership throughout the company. Began working at Beyond Warehousing in early 2022. Opened 360k sq/ft 3PL warehouse operation in April 2022. Onboarded over 20 new clients totaling over 20k pallets of storage and over 600 total in/outbound loads. Handled all inventory tracking and processes for each client’s custom needs along with all aspects of customer service and logistics. Hired and trained management and hourly staff. Manage labor and overhead for all operations of my facility. Transferred to CenterPoint Distribution in June 2023. Pet product specialty 3PL. 260k sq/ft facility, holding approx. 12k pallet positions. Tasked with completing the transition of the warehouse over to cloud based WMS, Extensiv 3PL. Managed warehouse personnel, processes and operation’s relationship with client services. Fulfilled orders ranging from full pallet to FBA and D2C consumers. FIFO, FEFO and special inventory services.
