About Jared Sellick

Thanks for taking the time to look at my page! My background includes data analysis, coding fundraising emails, and organizing campaigns all across Florida. I have been playing a part in every election season since 2018, most recently I worked for Mothership strategies as a digital strategist and helped raise $2.7 million over the course of 4 months from our fundraising email program, my responsibilities included coding with HTML, maintaining the schedule calendar and analyzing best practices and tactics. I have also worked as a columnist and reporter and have written articles on a wide variety of topics from criminal justice reform to new medical research. I did this work during my time at The News Station, an alt-weekly publication focusing on the cannabis industry. During this time I also worked as an assistant to the managing editor and helped coordinate with many different writers on various different projects. This involved managing many word documents and excel spreadsheets at the same time in order to keep the team on track. I also helped manage the organization’s Twitter and Instagram. I have canvassed for Tampa City Council members, and worked as a field organizer on a congressional campaign. During this time I became proficient in programs like VAN when taking part in my many canvasses. In addition, I have spoken with former republican congressman Ross Spano about the issue of climate change at his office during my internship at Our Climate.
