About Jared Simons

I started this journey like most in my line of work: as a young 20-something graphic designer, focused on color, type, layout, and making things look… well, pretty. Not a bad thing. But over the years, I got curious about the WHY behind the work. Eventually, I realized I loved the strategy, the messaging, and the bigger story driving the visuals. That curiosity pulled me into the world of branding and marketing. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve gone from being JUST a designer to a multi-hat-wearing brand-builder and marketer, blending creative direction with strategic thinking. I’ve gotten my hands on everything from full website redesigns and SEO overhauls to video storytelling, logo and identity design, email design and optimization, multi-channel campaigns, and more. No matter what I’m working on tomorrow, I always find one thing: I thrive where creativity meets purpose, and where design meets real-world impact. Most of my work has been in the nonprofit space, where the goal isn’t just clicks or conversions, but about changing lives. Because of this, I’m a huge believer in the power of storytelling to connect with people in ways that change their lives for the better. So whether I’m building a brand from scratch or refining an experience that already exists, I’m always pursuing genuine, human-to-human connection. I'm talking about the kind that shifts perspectives, moves people, drives action, reignites hope, and adds a spark of delight.
