About Jared Sislin
I am 27 years old and live in Laguna Niguel, California. I first started shooting surfing photos at the age of 14 at Salt Creek Beach, in Dana Point, where I grew up. What started out as a hobby quickly became a passion and I haven't put the camera down since. In High School I took 4 years of photography and was the official surf team photographer. After high school, I attended the Orange Coast School of Photography. I've received scholarships from the following : Art A Fair Foundation - Laguna Beach Orange Coast College School of Photography - Virgilio (JR) Dobluis Memorial Photography Award I've have had my work featured in multiple print and online publications, including Ghetto Juice Magazine, Aladdin Magazine, Surfphang Magazine, Grom Magazine, FreeSurf Magazine and Surfline.com. I was one of the main artists at The Mint Fine Art Gallery in San Clemente for several years. I was featured in the Orange County Register multiple times for my photography. When I am not shooting weddings or editing photos, I am assisting my good friend Robert Sebree in Los Angeles. He is one of the best Celebrity Photographers in the industry!
