About Jared Standridge

I graduated in March of '09 with a Bachelors in Media Arts & Animation from the Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg. I am currently working for Best Buy as A Product Flow Supervisor. I personally oversee a team of approximately 20 individuals as well as partner with other leaders in the store to help manage our sales floor. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) ensuring accurate inventory, shipping/receiving, merchandising, store safety and cleanliness, security, and the leading of my warehouse and profit protection team members. I also worked as a Detailer, Porter, and Parts Manager for Certified Collision Center. Job responsibilities included detailing cars, quality control and assurance, pick-up and delivery of vehicles, time management, and leading a small team of professional detailers. Later on, under the Parts Manager position, I was in charge of shipping, receiving, and inspection of all inbound and outbound parts, as well as upkeep of all inventory processes and any related record keeping. In my spare time I work to improve my art skills by creating pastel paintings/drawings, acrylic paintings, and digital illustrations, as well as networking with other local artists.
