Constructing Quantitative Analysis: I created a model to forecast stock market returns by country on a currency and inflation adjusted basis that then can be weighted by the country’s market cap and applied to any segment of the global equity market. As well as cost/benefit analysis for security selection by asset type such as common equity, ETFs, and futures contracts for various investment strategies such as cash equitization, sector rotation and factor allocation. Finally, performed market structure research based on segments for the size factor as well as active vs. passive strategy for emerging stock markets that was the basis for implementation. Establishing Business Strategies: I was responsible for our external manager initial due diligence process that was used to derive the request for proposal for external emerging market investment management. Following the implementation, using qualitative analysis as well as technology to incorporate external business partners and interested parties into a management platform that includes trading, reconciliation, legal, compliance, corporate actions, proxy voting, custodian, performance administrator, order management system, risk systems, documentation, and record retention. Developing Human Capital: I developed the training program to build a cross functional team of investment consultants, investment committee, staff both internally and externally. Managed the workflow of a technology implementation across various teams with diverse responsibilities. As well as participating as a hiring panelist for internal staff acquisitions of various roles. Management of relationships with external partners, clients, and regulatory agency staff.
